CompTIA A+ certification validates foundation-level knowledge and skills necessary for a career in PC support. It is the starting point for a career in IT. The exams cover maintenance of PCs, mobile devices, laptops, operating systems and printers. The international, vendor-neutral certification proves competence in areas such as installation, preventative maintenance, networking, security and troubleshooting.
In order to receive the CompTIA A+ certification, you must pass two 900 series exams (220-901 & 220-902). The current version of the CompTIA A+ certification exam is the 900 series.
